Scott is a Glasgow born Scotsman who has many years experience in the
entertainment industry as a Performer, Director, Producer in all types of shows
worldwide.
His break came in 1972 when he auditioned for the late Eric Cowell, father of
Simon Cowell ( Pop Idol Fame ) and became singer, presenter, for London's famous
Talk of the Town Theatre and later for The Golden Garter Theatre Manchester and
later again for the purpose built Night Out Theatre Birmingham. During the next
five years he became involved with management and had the great privilege of
booking and working with 'names' known throughout the world such as
Victor Borge, Charles Asnavour, Jack Jones, Roy Orbison,
Shirley Bassey, The Three Degrees, Lulu, Ken Dodd, Frankie Vaughan, Les Dawson,
Matt Munro, Bruce Forsyth, Des O'Connor, Guy Mitchell, Freddie Starr, Lonnie
Donegan, Paul Daniels, Val Doonican, The Bee Gees, The Grumbleweeds, The
Brotherhood of Man, The Searchers, The Barron Knights, The Rock'n Berries
and many many more wonderful artists.
In 1977 he opened his own seven hundred seated Theatre-Nightclub in Edinburgh
and appeared, presented and booked names as previous.
In 1981 Scott was invited to join P&O Cruises Ltd as cruise director, producer
and cabaret artist aboard their cruise ships Oriana, later Canberra and Sea
Princess.
In 1985 he joined Princess cruises in America again as cruise director, producer
and cabaret artist aboard their flagship ( known at this time through a
television series called "The Love Boat").
Since 1986 Scott has been managing director of his highly successful company
specialising in the management and representation of quality professional
artists whose ambition it is to work within films, television, radio, theatre,
sport and every section of the light entertainments industry.
Scott has the enviable reputation as a man who can 'get the job done' and
derives great satisfaction from the highest professional standards of the
productions his artists become involved with.
